I was thinking about my girls so I wrote them a letter. Then I began to think of all the daughters there are in my life and in yours perhaps. Encouragement is a way of life. The Coronavirus has effected all of us in one way or another. We are separated from loved ones in a way that we have not experienced before. The definition “far away” normally means a great geographical distance. Never have we been so close yet so far away from even our neighbors. While we spend more time within our homes, I hope you will choose to be encouraged and reach out to others in creative ways.

Dear Girls;
I love you very much. I wanted to encourage you to welcome this quiet time together. Enjoy being together like you never have before. As we wait for this season of the Coronavirus to pass it's important to wait well.
You all have such beautiful families. You are one of the most important points of influence for them. So as you go through your daily tasks that include the wearing of many hats; you will notice that some hats fit better than others.
As you support, love and guide your families don't forget to look deeply at what you have been blessed with. I find it's beneficial to take a personal inventory. We all benefit from implementation of this action occasionally. What do I need to change? What do I need to add to my life? What do I need to remove? Where do I need a new perspective? What do I need to deal with that might be difficult?
The most important thing I want to say is that you are each an incredible person. The world is a better place because of you. The faith I have and the God I serve is the reason I have you in my life. I don't take my relationship with you lightly and as long as I'm able I will continue to lift you in prayer as memories flood my thoughts with the time spent with you and I look forward to new memories!
