Open Your Eyes

My friend and I drove to our monthly meeting of the Author's Guild of Tennessee today. It's always a beneficial day with all the members, excellent information and motivational and encouraging speakers. But even more than that, it's a day with a friend.....a girl day.

As we drive the hour and a half each way, we can just about solve most of the problems of the world. Oh, if it were that easy.

The point is we talk, laugh and even cry. Like I said it's a girl day. One that you share the funny and marvelous wonders of life and the downsides that cause us to tear up a little. 

I shared with her a glitch in my thinking that has caused me regret and sadness.

She turned my thoughts inside out so that I saw the beauty hidden within my weeping. 

I will rest in that.
